Every posting on BacklotHub Jobs has to show real pay, a day or weekly rate, before it goes up. You’ll know what a job pays before you apply.
We won’t accept unpaid, deferred-pay, “credit/copy/meals” or “exposure” postings. Crew deserve to be paid, and you shouldn’t have to wade through listings that don’t pay you.
Already working with a studio on BacklotHub?
Production companies on BacklotHub already have their own crew page, which is live today. Sign up there to work with them, and sign in any time to keep your contact details, positions, cities, rate, gear and links current. Ask the production office for their link.

Will there be unpaid jobs?
No. BacklotHub Jobs will only carry paid work. Every posting has to show a real day or weekly rate. Unpaid, deferred, “credit/copy/meals” and “exposure” gigs won’t be accepted.
Is the job board live?
Not yet. It’s being built now. Sign up for early access and we’ll email you when job posting opens in your area. We haven’t set a date.
A production company I work for already uses BacklotHub. Is this the same thing?
It’s related. Studios on BacklotHub already have their own crew page where you can sign up to work with them and keep your profile current. BacklotHub Jobs will add a public board, and one profile you can share with every studio you work for.
What will studios see about me?
What you choose to put on your profile and share when you apply. On a studio’s own crew page, you only ever see your own record, and a studio’s internal notes and booked rates stay private to them.
