This policy explains how Toronado Entertainment LLC (“we”, “us”) handles personal information on this website (backlothub.app) and in the BacklotHub service we provide to production companies (our “customers”).

Two different roles

On this website, we decide what is collected and why. Inside BacklotHub, each customer decides what it records about its crew, vendors and guests. For that data we act on the customer’s instructions, as their service provider (a “processor” in GDPR terms). If you are a crew member, vendor or guest of one of our customers, that production company is your first point of contact.

What we collect on this website

• What you send through the contact form: name, work email, company, role, the plan you’re interested in and your message.
• Basic server logs kept by our hosting provider (such as IP address, browser and time of request) to run and secure the site.
• A single preference stored in your browser to remember light or dark mode. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

• To reply to you, arrange a demo or pilot, and follow up about your request.
• To keep the site secure and working.

We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Service providers

We use service providers to run the website and the service. They may process personal information on our behalf. They include Cloudflare (website hosting), Resend (sending email), Google Firebase / Google Cloud (the BacklotHub application and its data), and Anthropic (AI features in the application, only for content a customer chooses to process).

Retention

We keep contact-form messages for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any relationship that follows, and then delete them. Customer data in BacklotHub is kept for as long as the customer’s agreement requires.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, or to object to how it is used. To make a request about this website, email [email protected]. For data held in BacklotHub by a production company, contact that company, or use the removal link it gave you. We’ll help them respond.

Security

We use access controls, encryption provided by our hosting platforms, and role-based permissions to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we don’t promise that it is.

Children

This website and the service are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we’ll tell customers directly.
